Arizona's Premier Corporate Somatic Yoga: Why Leading Meetings, Events, and Businesses Invest in Ascendify Wellness’ Team Activation Experiences
-
Reduce Employee Stress & Boost Team Performance
Somatic Yoga specifically targets the connective tissue where emotional stress gets stored, creating the physical tension that can limit your peak performance. Research shows that somatic-based yoga improves flexibility, balance, and reduces pain severity while enhancing functional activities of daily living (Galantino et al., 2019).
-
Prevent Workplace Burnout & Increase Energy Levels
Through gentle muscle relaxation and diaphragmatic breathing, Somatic Yoga activates your parasympathetic nervous system, reaching deeper layers of fascia to promote genuine recovery. Studies demonstrate that participants experience measurable reductions in cortisol levels and enhanced vibration sense through increased body awareness (Galantino et al., 2019).
-
Improve Leadership Skills & Emotional Intelligence
Somatic Yoga prioritizes nervous system safety and intuitive movement, helping busy professionals develop the self-awareness essential for effective leadership. Research confirms that slow, mindful movement improves vagal tone and helps regulate the autonomic nervous system that manages stress and decision-making (Payne et al., 2021).
-
Accelerate Recovery & Prevent Injury
Clinical studies reveal that somatic practices enhance reaction time and motor skill acquisition while reducing mental fatigue. A comprehensive systematic review of 28 studies found that single sessions of yoga-based interventions reduced stress reactivity by 71% in physiological measures (Mandlik et al., 2024).
-
Build Workplace Resilience & Long-Term Success
A randomized controlled trial demonstrated that Somatic Experiencing significantly reduced anxiety and depression symptoms in participants, with effects lasting beyond the intervention period. This research provides preliminary evidence for positive effects on trauma-related symptoms and overall well-being (Vagnini et al., 2023).
-
Strengthen Team Building & Company Culture
Group somatic practices create powerful shared experiences that enhance team cohesion and psychological safety. Research demonstrates that workplace yoga interventions significantly reduce occupational stress and burnout risk while improving overall well-being (Zok et al., 2024).
-
Enhance Focus & Mental Clarity for Better Decision-Making
Somatic movement practices help quiet the mental chatter that clouds executive judgment, creating space for clearer thinking and more innovative problem-solving. Studies show that mindfulness-based somatic approaches significantly improve attention and cognitive flexibility, essential skills for navigating complex business challenges (Galantino et al., 2019).
-
Maximize Recovery for High-Performance Teams
Somatic Yoga's emphasis on passive poses and sustained pressure helps hydrate and nourish fascia, enhancing flexibility and restoring natural elasticity. This gentle approach promotes the deep rest essential for sustained high performance (Galantino et al., 2019).

Get to Know Liz, Your Partner in Effortless Wellness & Peak Performance
I'm Liz, the heart behind Ascendify Wellness, blending corporate leadership experience with expertise in neuroscience-backed wellness solutions. My journey into sound meditation began after severe burnout and multiple urgent surgeries disrupted my nervous system, overall health, and quality of life.
On a scavenger hunt for solutions, I immersed myself in the neuroscience of sound frequencies, nervous system regulation, and Theta Wave states. I pursued advanced training in both Sound Meditation and Somatic Yoga, mastering how these scientifically-backed modalities could systematically address the root causes of chronic stress and performance limitations.
The results were transformative, and I knew I had to share this with others. Now, I help individuals and teams optimize performance and unlock their fullest potential through effortless wellness solutions grounded in neuroscience. My mission is to help you optimize your mind and body using the same neuroscience-backed techniques that transformed my entire approach to peak performance.

I felt a renewed sense of safety, peace and calmness take over. I also felt like I could connect with her personal story of facing corporate burnout and taking the plunge on something more personal and meaningful. From the moment the session began, Liz's nurturing presence and genuine belief in the healing power of sound were evident. She skillfully guided us through the meditation, creating an atmosphere of deep relaxation and inner peace. Her dedication to helping others heal shone through every aspect of the session. Josua M.Let’s just say this. Liz’s energy alone is enough to balance your chakras . If that doesn’t work she is amazing at feeling the room as she moves playing the healing vibration sounds needed to bring us all back into balance. She very much is worth booking a sound bath session with.
Rae S.Liz is warm, welcoming, & made me feel completely at ease at my very first sound bath experience. From the moment the session began, I felt a deep sense of relaxation wash over me. The soothing vibrations of the bowls and gentle tones created a calming atmosphere that melted away my stress. She customized the experience by allowing us to place a marker on our mats indicating if we wanted her to come closer to us with the bowls (yes please!). By the end, I felt lighter, more balanced, and completely refreshed. This is the absolute perfect way to end a week and prepare for the next one! If you're looking for a way to reset your mind and body, I highly recommend this transformative experience!
Joanna Z.I was lucky to receive a sound bath by Liz and it was so special! I’ve been to plenty of sound baths but there was something different about this one. From the way Liz holds space, to the fluctuations of sounds that we received, to the care that she brought to each student as she played instruments over us, i was blown away! I felt so relaxed the rest of the day. Can’t wait to attend another sound bath by Liz in the future!
